An Invitation from Genevieve M. Westerman

Community Wealth Building

A regenerative field of practice for those weaving wealth back into living relationship — with people, place, and the systems that hold us.

This is not a wealth-building program in the extractive sense. It is a stewardship path for community organizers, bioregional weavers, and visionary leaders ready to tend the many forms of capacity that move through a place.

Take what is useful. Leave what is not.

The Pattern You Are Noticing

The Old Wealth Story Is Ending

You already sense it. The extractive script no longer holds. And yet the new pathways are still being shaped — often without maps for the people actually doing the weaving.

You carry the vision. You see how community wealth could be regenerative — held in commons, rooted in place, shared across generations. But the containers around you keep collapsing back into scarcity thinking.

You are tired of tokenized language. "Community" and "regenerative" are used as marketing polish rather than lived practice. You want to work with people who mean what they say.

You need companions. Bioregional weaving is relational work. It cannot be done in isolation, and it will not be sustained without a field of peers who understand the terrain.

What This Is

A Living Architecture for Community Wealth

Rooted in the Regenerative Wealth Map™ and The Four Wells of Success™, this path names the many forms of wealth that move through a bioregion — and gives you frameworks, practices, and companions to steward them well.

🌿

The Regenerative Wealth Map™

A framework for recognizing at least ten forms of wealth already alive in your community — beyond financial capital.

🔥

Seasonal Circle Gatherings

Live sessions on a rhythm you can sustain, where questions from your actual bioregion are met with care and precision.

🌀

Nourishing Dialogues™ Practice

Relational tools for the conversations community wealth actually depends on — repair, consent, governance, and shared attention.

🤝

A Bioregional Network

Companionship with weavers, organizers, and stewards working across watersheds, neighborhoods, and living systems.

A Practice Library

Recognition practices, reflection guides, and assessments you can bring into your own council, cohort, or co-op.

This Path Is For You If…

You Are a Weaver, Not an Extractor

  • 🌿 You are a community organizer, bioregional weaver, or civic steward
  • 🌿 You are leading a cooperative, land trust, mutual aid network, or place-based initiative
  • 🌿 You want frameworks that honor living systems, not extract from them
  • 🌿 You are ready for long-term practice, not another quick-scale playbook
  • 🌿 You value reciprocity, consent, slowness, and the courage to lead differently
  • 🌿 You long for a commons — not a marketplace — where your community's wholeness is the foundation

Common Questions

A Few Things to Know

What makes Community Wealth Building different from other programs?
This is not a course on how to raise capital or scale a nonprofit. It is a stewardship path grounded in living-systems thinking — informed by John Fullerton and Capital Institute, Kate Raworth, Elinor Ostrom, adrienne maree brown, and Genevieve's own Regenerative Wealth Map™ and Four Wells of Success™. The pattern it names is that community wealth already exists; our work is to recognize, tend, and reciprocate with it.
Is this a fit for early-stage organizers?
Yes, if you are already in relationship with a community and ready to be in ongoing practice. This path is designed for people actually doing the weaving — at any scale — not for those seeking a credential without practice ground.
What this path is not.
It is not a substitute for material safety, fair pay, structural change, legal counsel, or the leadership of Indigenous and place-rooted communities where you live. It does not promise that any framework will solve systemic injustice. It offers frameworks, practices, and companionship — held with care and clear ethical boundaries.
What is the time commitment?
The path follows a seasonal rhythm. Live gatherings are recorded, and the practice library is always available. Your pace is your own. No proving required.
What is the investment?
The path is offered at a sustainable rate with sliding-scale options rooted in our commitment to economic justice. Current details are shared when you begin the enrollment conversation below.
