Genevieve M.
Westerman
Founder of The Strategic Heart Enterprises. Practitioner of dialogue, land, and the quiet infrastructure of care.

A Life Rooted in Relationship
I grew up learning that a well-tended conversation can hold a family, a neighborhood, and sometimes a piece of land.
My work sits at the meeting place of relationship, leadership, land, food, and regenerative futures — the places where people learn to build something worth returning to.
The Strategic Heart Enterprises grew from a simple observation: the systems that sustain us are relational before they are technical. Soil, water, and story ask the same question — who is tending this, and for how long?
I bring dialogue maturity, community wealth thinking, curriculum design, and ecological imagination to that question.
How I Show Up in the Work
Four commitments that shape every conversation, design, and agreement.
Listen First
To the land, to the people, to what has already been tried and what still wants to grow.
Refuse Extraction
No savior scripts, no surveillance disguised as service, no borrowed authority over other people's lives.
Build Agreements
Clarity is care. Real stewardship needs shared authority, honest terms, and room for repair.
Tend Over Time
Trees, communities, and trust all mature slowly. I plan for the return of people, not the launch.
What I Bring to the Table
Two decades at the meeting place of dialogue practice, community wealth, curriculum design, and ecological thinking.
I write, I facilitate, I design frameworks, and I help institutions build the relational muscle they need before the planting begins.

Nourishing Dialogues
The Science of Conversations That Restore Lineages, Lead Teams, and Transform Culture.
My work as a writer and facilitator is grounded in one conviction: the quality of our conversations shapes the quality of everything we try to build together — families, teams, neighborhoods, food forests, futures.
Connect With MeA Commons Conversation
If your family, community, institution, or partnership is ready to grow food and grow relationship together, I would be glad to listen.
Begin where you are. Grow what can be cared for.
